7:1 For this Melchisedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met together with Abraham returning from the combat of the kings and blessed him.

7:2 To whom also Abraham paid a tenth from all parts; first indeed being translated King of Righteousness, and after that yet King of Salem, which is, King of Peace.

7:3 Fatherless, motherless, without a genealogy, neither beginning of days nor consumation of life, picturing yet the Son of God is remaining a Sacred One (Priest) into the finality (continually).

7:4 Yet behold how eminent this one to whom also the patriarch Abraham gives a tenth out of the extremity piles (booty).

7:5 And the ones indeed out of the sons of Levi, obtaining the priestly office, have a direction to take tithes from the people according to the law, their brothers, and are also ones from the loins of Abraham.

7:6 Yet the one whose genealogy is not out of them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed the one having the promises.

7:7 And beyond all contradiction the inferior is blessed by the better.

7:8 And here humans die and indeed obtain tithes; but there, there is one who receives them of whom it is attested that he lives.

7:9 And as I may say, though, Levi who obtained tithes, also paid tithes through Abraham.

7:10 For he was still in the loins of his father when Melchisedek met with him.

7:11 If indeed then perfection was through the Levitical priesthood, for the people had been placed under the law, what further need was there for a priest according to the order of Melchisedek to rise and not according to the order of Aaron?

7:12 For the priesthood being transferred, out of necessity also the law should also be transferred.

7:13 For whom these (things) are being said of a different tribe from which no one has given heed to the sacrifice-place (altar).

7:14 For it is taken for granted that our Master (Lord) has risen out of Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

7:15 And it is still more-superabundantly sure, according to the likeness of Melchisedek arises a different priest.

7:16 Who is become freshly (made), not according to law of precept but according to power of indissoluble (endless) life.

7:17 For he is attesting that you (are a) sacred-one (priest) into the eon (forver) according to the order of Melchisedek.

7:18 For indeed there is a repudiation of the preceding precept because of its weakness and unbeneficialness.

7:19 For the law did not superinduce (produce) perfection, yet a better expectation (did); through which we are drawing near to God.

7:20 And as much as not apart from swearing of an oath, he has become priest.

7:21 Yet the one swears an oath through the one saying to him, "The Lord swears and will not regret it, you are a sacred-one (priest) into the eon according to the order of Melchisedek.

7:22 According to so much was Jesus become a sponsor of a better covenant.

7:23 And indeed the ones were more than one, having become sacred ones (priests) because they were prevented from continuing because of death.

7:24 Yet this One, because he remains into the eon, has the inviolated (unchangeable) priesthood.

7:25 Further, he is able to save to the uttermost the ones who come through him to God, always living to plead (intercede) for their sake.

7:26 For such a chief sacred one (chief priest) behooved us, benign, innocent, undefiled, having been separated from the sinners and became higher than the heavens.

7:27 Who did not need to offer up sacrifice daily, as the previous chief priests, for the sake of his own sins, and for the people's, for this he did once for all when he offered up himself.

7:28 For the law constitutes humans as chief priests who have infirmity, yet the word of swearing an oath after the law constitutes the son having been matured into the eon.
